Our cryotherapy treatment uses a very cold substance (usually liquid nitrogen) to safely remove the lesion, growth or blemish without damaging the surrounding tissue. How does this treatment work?
Cryotherapy works by using extreme cold to destroy small, localised growths or lesions on the skin. The freezing, followed by the slow thawing of the growth or lesion being treated, kills the cells, usually leaving a small scab or crust that will fall off after about 10 days.

Treatment is usually given while you are lying down, but this may vary according to the location of the area being treated.
