Wrinkles

Wrinkles are one of the most common skin conditions we treat, affecting most people as they get older and usually appearing in women at a younger age than men. They are more premature and pronounced in those with UV-damaged skin or people who have smoked.

Wrinkles can appear all over the body but are most common and most visible around the eyes, forehead and mouth as well as the neck, décolletage and hands.  They are caused by exposure to the sun, the effects of natural muscle movement and by loss of collagen and natural oils in the skin as we get older. Genetic and environmental factors can also contribute to this condition.
