Time required for treatment
The total treatment time is usually 1 hour. Facial fillers will be carried out two weeks after the initial treatment if appropriate to you.

Are usually seen within 24 hours and improve with each treatment.

The results will last for approximately 3-4 months, at which point it is recommended for patients to come back for a maintenance treatment.

About this treatment
The treatment process begins with a highly-effectively deoxycholic acid submental fat treatment, which aims to emulsify fat under the chin through a series of targeted injections to slim and define the chin and jaw area.
Directly after the procedure, a Meder Beauty Lipo Oval mask is applied to the whole face. This mask is clinically proven to reduce facial puffiness, malar bags and a double chin. Made from environmentally friendly golden bamboo fibre, the mask is soaked in an active gel that restores microcirculation, drains excess fluid, and brings back capillary elasticity.
Not only is Lipo Oval a highly effective face-slimming mask that increases lipolysis and eliminates excess water, but it also brightens the complexion, erases traces of fatigue, and makes the face look well-rested and restored. The mask is paired with powerful LED light therapy, which penetrates the skin to help repair and rejuvenate.
Facial fillers are the icing on the cake of this powerful treatment combination. They are used to give crucial support to the face by repositioning the facial fat pads, which have shrunk or dropped with age, whilst restoring definition to the cheeks and jawline, helping the whole face appear slimmer and more youthful.
This innovative treatment combination offers excellent long-term results and can often be a life-changing treatment for those who are self-conscious about submental fullness and lack of definition in the lower face. The treatment will be tailored to you, your anatomy, and your specific treatment goals.
As with any treatment that involves needles, injections may cause slight pain or discomfort. However, your practitioner will numb the area with a topical cream before the procedure to ensure that pain is minimal.
Shape and Sculpt is ideal for anyone who would like to eliminate submental fat under the chin, slim their face and restore youthful definition to their chin and jawline.
Immediately after the deoxycholic acid procedure you will swell in the area. This lasts between 4 days and 2 weeks and is usually not painful. Some feeling of numbness and hardness can last up to a month. The swelling can be reduced by taking antihistamines, sleeping in an upright position and wearing a chin support.
You can expect a fat reduction of about 25% after the first treatment. A course of 2-6 fat-dissolving injections is usually recommended, 6-8 weeks apart, depending on the amount of submental fat and your treatment goals. Optimum results are seen after four months.
After a course of treatments, you can expect a slimmer, more defined lower face. Submental fat will be significantly reduced, and the face will be visibly slimmer and more youthful.
