How does this thread vein removal treatment work?
The Thermavein machine uses a process known as Thermocoagulation. A microwave current is delivered to the thread vein via a small needle. The current seals off the vein walls, leaving the dead vein to be naturally disposed of by your body.

What happens during my thread vein removal treatment?
Your skin will be cleaned before treatment and we will also take photographs of your skin. Treatment is given while you are lying down with your head slightly raised. After treatment we will apply a non-occlusive foundation to the skin, to help to reduce any redness.

Will I feel any pain or side effects?
Your skin may look red and blotchy immediately after treatment and sometimes for an additional couple of days. Crusting will usually develop on the treated area but this will fall off usually within 1 week.
