Verruca & Wart Removal
About this treatment
At Illuminate, we use cryotherapy to remove verrucas and warts. This quick and effective treatment involves the freezing of the verruca or wart to kill and remove it, leaving smooth, scar-free skin.
Cryotherapy uses extreme cold to freeze off the verruca or wart. Liquid nitrogen is commonly used to achieve this. This treatment is very quick and straightforward and is extremely effective. A scab or crust may form in place of the verruca or wart after treatment. This will fall off after 7-10 days.
Treatment is usually given while you are lying down, but this may vary according to the location of the area being treated.
You may feel minor discomfort during or immediately after treatment.
This treatment is suitable for anyone with verrucas or warts that they would like to have removed.
