Your initial consultation, including taking bloods will take approximately 45 minutes. Once the blood test results have been received we will arrange a follow-up consultation to explain and discuss the recommended treatment. You will apply or take BHRT at home in tablet, cream or lozenge form

When you are deficient in a specific hormone or hormones we can prescribe the correct bioidentical hormone to replace it in the form of a cream, tablet, or lozenge.
Your BHRT specialist will discuss your treatment in detail with you once blood samples have been taken and analysed. You will take the cream, tablet or lozenge prescribed at home.
Occasionally some side effects may be felt. These include headache, tiredness, blurred vision and indigestion, but this will depend on the hormones that are being replaced and your individual condition. This will be discussed with you during initial consultation.
BHRT is most commonly used to treat middle-aged women and men who are suffering with symptoms of the menopause or andropause. However they can also be used to treat a wide variety of symptoms occurring in people of all ages.
