Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections use small injections of Botox to soften lines and wrinkles and balance muscle function in both the face and neck, resulting in a natural freshening of the face and improved skin elasticity.

They provide a refresh for the whole face but are particularly effective for jawline slimming, downturned mouth corners, frown lines, forehead lines, bunny lines and crow’s feet.

The anti-wrinkle treatment creates a more relaxed facial appearance by smoothing out facial wrinkles developed by the ageing process. Anti-wrinkle injections can be a very satisfying alternative to surgical face lifts that often require a month or more of recovery time. The effects of an anti-wrinkle injection will last for several months and can look more natural than surgical alternatives.

1

How do anti-wrinkle injections work?

Miniscule injections of Botox are made to the relevant areas of the face, using a very fine ‘invisible’ needle combined with a precise injecting device for the most accurate and effective drug delivery.

2

What happens during my Botox treatment?

Injections take only a few minutes and are administered while you are lying down.

3

Will I feel any pain or side effects?

You may feel minimal discomfort but injections are usually less uncomfortable than expected.  Redness or a few small bumps may appear in the treatment area immediately afterwards.  Other side effects, including bruising, are less common.

4

Who is Botox treatment suitable for?

Anti-wrinkle injections are suitable for anyone with early signs of ageing. They are not suitable for teenagers.
