Hand Sweating
Hand sweating is usually caused by anxiety, or in some cases people thinking that they are anxious. It affects the palms of the hands, where there is a very high concentration of eccrine sweat glands. Your nerves activate these glands when you feel anxious, resulting in excessive sweating taking place.
This is a common condition that in some cases can make social situations and even everyday activities such as driving or opening a door difficult. In addition to anxiety, the menopause or andropause (male menopause), pregnancy, an overactive thyroid gland and diabetes can cause or exaggerate this condition.
