Verrucas & Warts
Verrucas and Warts are common conditions caused by viruses and usually appear on the face, hands or feet. Most warts are harmless but can be unattractive to the eye. They are usually round or oval shaped with a rough surface. Verrucas are usually found on the soles of the feet and are flatter than warts and white in colour. They can be painful, especially when running, walking or standing. Both verrucas and warts harden with time as the virus that causes them seeks to protect itself.
At Illuminate, we use cryotherapy to treat verrucas and warts. This removes the verruca or wart quickly using extreme cold, resulting in smooth, scar-free skin.
