Rosacea / Facial Redness
Rosacea is a common and under-diagnosed inflammatory skin condition that affects the face, in particular the cheeks, nose and chin. It often starts with a flushing in the face that comes and goes, and then progresses to the appearance of redness, pimples or red veins in the facial area. This may be accompanied by a stinging or burning sensation.
There are many risk factors for rosacea including over exposure to the sun, the menopause, spicy food, alcoholism, acid reflux and family history. It can appear in both men and women at any age, occasionally being mistaken for spots or acne. It is a relapsing condition, with symptoms fluctuating in severity.
We offer a range of treatments for this condition including Venus Viva, which uses Nano-Fractional Radio Frequency to deliver heat beneath the skin’s surface and repair the damaged or affected skin.
