Thin Lips
Some people are born with thin lips while others will develop this condition as they get older, with changes in lip shape often being noticeable from about the age of 30.
Thin lips due to ageing are caused by loss of collagen in the lips, which reduces both their natural fullness and colour, and also by gravity pulling facial skin down onto the top of the lip area.
This condition is easy to treat using fillers or lip augmentation to restore volume to the lips, and may have the added bonus of helping to smooth out any fine lines or wrinkles around the lips and mouth.
