Scalp Sweating
Scalp sweating is a form of excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis that can affect anyone. At Illuminate we see it most commonly in regular gym-goers and menopausal women, but it can also be caused by anxiety and particular medications or infections. Scalp sweating can cause sufferers distress and anxiety, for example, when sweat drips excessively down the face, into the eyes or causes flat, wet and lank hair.
This condition can be managed very effectively with multiple tiny injections of Botox into the scalp, which block the nerves that cause sweating to take place.
