Knee Fat
This is a very common condition that results in excess overhanging fat and skin on the top and on the inside of the knee. Patient treatment is usually for aesthetic rather than medical reasons and is very popular with women who may not wish to wear a skirt, swimsuit or dress due to feeling embarrassed about knee fat. In some cases knee fat will also make legs look distorted or out of shape.
This condition is more common in women. It can appear with age or due to hormonal changes, in particular during the menopause or pregnancy.
