Mole Removal
mole removal treatment kings hill, kent
Most people will have between 10 and 40 moles on their body. They can appear anywhere and usually occur naturally up to about the age 45. Healthy moles are even in both colour and shape and do not need to be removed. However, if a mole is very visible or is causing discomfort you may prefer for it not to be there.
We will usually use cryotherapy to safely and effectively remove moles. Please note that we are always happy to remove a mole or other lesions that have been checked by a dermatologist. If we are unsure about the health of a mole we will refer you to a dermatologist prior to any treatment taking place.

How does this treatment work?
Cryotherapy uses extreme cold to destroy the cells being treated. We usually use liquid nitrogen to freeze the mole or moles being removed. This takes a very short time and kills the mole, usually leaving a small scab or crust that will fall off after about 10 days.

What happens during my treatment?
Treatment is usually given while you are lying down, but this may vary according to the location of the area being treated.
3
Will I feel any pain or side effects?
You may feel minor discomfort during or immediately after treatment.
4
Who is this treatment suitable for?
This treatment is suitable for anyone with moles or other small non-cancerous growths or blemishes that they would like to have removed.
