Does the treatment hurt?
The treatment will involve your doctor administering local anaesthetic before treatment, to make the procedure more comfortable. As the skin is numbed, most clients hardly experience any pain during or immediately after the treatment. You will likely experience some mild discomfort in the days following as your skin starts its healing process, however, we will work with you to manage this and make sure you remain as comfortable as possible.

Who is suitable for treatment?
Profound is suitable for anyone who’s noticing significant signs of ageing such as sagging and drooping skin, jowls and pronounced wrinkles. It can also be used to treat areas of fat and cellulite on the body.

Is there any downtime?
You can expect about five to seven days of downtime as your skin undergoes the healing process. This is significantly reduced when compared to a surgical facelift which has a long and painful recovery period of up to one month.
