Hair Loss
Hair loss is a condition that can affect both men and women and is often related to another medical condition or a deficiency or imbalance in the body. Anaemia, iron deficiency, autoimmune conditions, hormonal imbalance and reactions to medication are all common causes. These can all cause types of alopecia. It can also be hereditary.
Hair loss most commonly occurs when the usual cycle of hair growth and shedding is disrupted, and too many hairs are in the resting phase of the cycle, or when the hair follicles are destroyed or die. In men, in particular frontal hair loss can be linked to high testosterone levels. Trauma and surgical scarring are additional causes of this condition.
We offer a range of specialist hair restoration treatments to address and treat different types of hair loss, including Scalp Micropigmentation, Growth Factor Mesotherapy, HydraFacial Keravive and Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP). Please see our Hair Restoration treatment page for more information.
