This unique treatment is designed to re-surface and rejuvenate ageing skin, smoothing out lines and wrinkles and improving elasticity and overall tone and texture. We use Venus Viva technology to deliver radio frequency waves deep into the dermis to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Nano fractional skin resurfacing can be used to treat the face, neck, décolletage and hands and can also be highly effective in reducing acne scarring, facial redness and pigmentation.
This is an ideal anti-ageing treatment that can be tailored to each individual patient’s skin condition. We may recommend combining nano fractional skin resurfacing with LED light therapy treatment to aid healing and reduce facial redness. Please note that a patch test is required prior to full treatment taking place.

How does this treatment work?
The Venus Viva delivers highly targeted, controlled heat deep into the skin’s dermis via radio frequency waves. This heat causes fractional ablation and coagulation that in turn stimulates fibroblasts, resulting in the increased production of collagen and elastin in the area being treated.

What happens during my treatment?
You will be lying down during your treatment. Your face will be cleansed and then numbing cream applied prior to treatment taking place. The Venus Viva is a hand- held device that is held above the area being treated to deliver the radio frequency waves. Healing cream and SPF will be applied following treatment.

Will I feel any pain or side effects?
You may feel a slight discomfort during your treatment. Visible redness and a slight swelling on or around the treated area can be present for up to 24 hours after treatment. Flaking, dryness and exfoliation may also occur in the two weeks following treatment. We will provide full home care advice.

Who is this treatment suitable for?
Nano fractional skin resurfacing is suitable for all skin types and colours. Please note that no alpha hydroxy acids (AHA’s) or active ingredients should be used during the 4-5 days following treatment.
