How does this treatment work?

A series of small injections underneath the skins surface help to rebalance hyaluronic acid production, stimulate collagen production and improve skin hydration, naturally reducing the signs of older looking, tired or dry skin. This treatment is a popular and gentler alternative to Botox and fillers.

What happens during my treatment?

Numbing cream will be applied prior to treatment and then a series of small injections into your skin in the area being treated are made. You will be lying down during your treatment.

Will I feel any pain or side effects?

You may feel some mild discomfort. Bruising and small red marks on the treatment area sometimes appear immediately after treatment, but usually disappear quickly.

Who is this treatment suitable for?

Anyone aged 18 over, but most Illuminate Skin Clinic patients are over 25.
