Are HydraFacial results immediate?
With the ability to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, brighten, extract, hydrate and detoxify in as little as sixty minutes, it’s no surprise that the HydraFacial is now one of the most highly requested facial treatments in clinics around the world.
The HydraFacial is a high-tech facial device that can treat all manner of skin concerns using a hand-held hydradermabrasion device that acts like a vacuum, sucking up all the dirt, grime and excess oil from deep within your pores as well as whipping away any dead skin cells from the surface.
It’s the only facial treatment on the market that combines multiple facial techniques all-in-one to deeply rejuvenate the skin on every level.
So, what exactly does a treatment involve, and what can you expect in terms of results? Here is everything you need to know…
How does HydraFacial work?
HydraFacial is a multi-step treatment that combines glycolic acid, salicylic acid, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid in different formulations, according to your skin’s needs.
It uses a suction device with a whirling vortex of water at its tip to deep clean and exfoliate the skin, allowing deeper penetration of the complexion-boosting vitamins, peptides and hyaluronic acid that are yet to follow.
Targeted, proprietary skin solutions are delivered to address specific skin concerns, including dehydration, discolouration, ageing, acne and uneven skin texture. The final step of the HydraFacial treats your skin to a few minutes of soothing red or blue light that calms the complexion and stimulates collagen formation.
What results should you expect?
After your first treatment, you should expect to see visible skin refinement and a more even, radiant skin tone since the dead cells on the surface have been removed, and the pores have been cleared and infused with skin brightening ingredients.
We recommend having a HydraFacial the day before a big event to give your skin time to calm right down afterwards. You should expect the glow to last for several days and the fresh, super-clean feeling to last for a week. A course of treatments consisting of one every four weeks is recommended for improving complex concerns such as acne and pigmentation.
For acne
The HydraFacial helps to clear existing acne as well as prevent future breakouts. Blackheads and impurities in congested areas are extracted using honey extract and salicylic acid, whilst the gentle glycolic and salicylic solution helps loosen debris from your pores, brightening your skin.
You can expect to see some improvement in your breakouts after the first treatment, which should be maintained at home with a good quality skincare regime consisting of at least a cleanser, an AHA/BHA solution and daily sunscreen application.
For optimal results, we recommend a course of six treatments, however, you may require more.
For pigmentation
To tackle dark spots and hyperpigmentation, we can incorporate a targeted solution into your HydraFacial – the Britenol Vortex-Booster – which is clinically proven to minimise the appearance of brown spots and awaken dull skin, improve sun-damaged areas and leave the skin glowing with a more radiant, even complexion.
For general anti-ageing and rejuvenation
If you’re looking to improve signs of ageing or simply maintain a healthy, radiant complexion, the HydraFacial is an excellent choice.
Whilst a traditional facial will clear your skin of the dirt and oil that sit on the surface, if you want to deep clean your skin and infuse the deeper layers with a concoction of targeted hydrating serums, this facial does an excellent job.
It also works well alongside injectable treatments and as a support to your daily skincare regime. The HydraFacial is designed to maximise skin health, delivering a relaxing resurfacing of the skin to address skin issues such as acne, rosacea and pigmentation whilst maximising skin glow. When your complexion is healthy and radiant, the results of your injectables will look even better, and your skincare ingredients will penetrate deeper and deliver better results.
