Migraine Treatment

This treatment is particularly effective in treating chronic migraine, which is defined as experiencing headaches on 15 or more days each month.  We use Botox injections to treat migraine, injecting into muscles in the face, scalp and neck.  Botox treatment can decrease the number of migraine attacks experienced.

Whilst there is some uncertainly about the exact science of how this treatment works, it has been used by the NHS in the UK and is proven to be very effective in treating chronic or severe migraine.
