Excessive Sweating Treatment
Excessive sweating is usually caused by a condition called hyperhidrosis. It may affect the whole body or just specific areas, in particular the armpits, hands, feet, face and scalp. It is a common condition but one that often has a big impact on the lives of those if affects.
We use Botox to treat this condition, delivering multiple tiny injections into the sweat glands to reduce their activity. This results in significantly reduced sweating or in many cases complete dryness, often transforming the day-to-day life of the patient and dramatically increasing confidence.
This treatment is also very popular with gym goers and with menopausal women suffering from hot flushes.

How does this treatment work?
We make multiple tiny injections of Botox into the sweat glands using a very small syringe and needle. The Botox works by preventing the release of a chemical that signals the sweat glands to activate. We use new needles for every area of the body that we treat and, if treating the scalp, may use a Mesogun for precise multiple injection with minimal discomfort.
What happens during my treatment?
Your treatment will be given in clinic. You will usually be lying down, although this may vary according to the area of the body being treated. Local anaesthetic will be given as required prior to treatment.
Will I feel any pain or side effects?
Some discomfort is likely to be felt, although this will depend on the body area being treated.
Who is this treatment suitable for?
Patients must be over 18. This treatment is often given to menopausal women and gym goers who suffer from excessive sweating. It is also a popular treatment with our male customers.
