Kristel joined the Illuminate team after spending over 20 years in administrative roles, where she honed her skills in organisation, communication, and customer service. In her 30s, Kristel discovered her passion for skin, and wellness, training as a massage therapist and diving into the fascinating world of beauty. Having first come to Illuminate as a patient herself, Kristel immediately connected with the welcoming atmosphere and expert care provided by the team. Inspired by her own positive experience, she knew it was the perfect place to work and help others through their own journeys.

As Patient Care Coordinator, Kristel’s role is to ensure that every patient feels supported and cared for from their very first interaction with the clinic through to their follow-up appointments. Her natural warmth and enthusiasm make her exceptional at welcoming patients, understanding their needs, and creating a seamless, enjoyable experience. Whether meeting and greeting patients at reception or ensuring smooth communication between patients and practitioners, Kristel is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and building genuine connections.

Having been a patient herself, Kristel truly understands what it’s like to embark on an aesthetic journey. This unique perspective allows her to empathise with patients and offer reassurance and guidance every step of the way. She loves learning about the latest treatments and skincare options, and her personal favourite is the HydraFacial – she’s a fan of its instant glow and loves pairing it with radiofrequency treatments for enhanced results.

Outside of work, Kristel loves hosting and creating warm, inviting spaces, whether she’s spending time with family and friends, hanging out with her daughter, or indulging her passion for interiors. She is excited to continue learning about skin health and aesthetics, helping patients feel confident, and making every visit to Illuminate a positive, uplifting experience.
