Kate Whitling
Kate brings a wealth of invaluable business experience to the Illuminate team having spent over 10 years working in the aesthetics industry. Her past roles include working as General Manager for a highly respected west end dermatology clinic and prior to that, as non-surgical manager for one of the UK’s leading cosmetic and aesthetic clinic groups.
She is very much Dr Sophie’s right-hand woman when it comes to looking after the business side of Illuminate and takes day-to-day responsibility for team management, patient satisfaction, compliance, financials, sales and marketing and the overall smooth and efficient running of the clinic business. She holds a BA Honours degree in humanities.
Kate joined us in 2019, attracted to both Illuminate’s rising industry profile and to the idea of closely working with Dr Sophie. She has a particular interests in dermatology, skin health and skin nutrition as well as in general wellness, and will be helping to develop and promote Illuminates offering in these areas.
Outside of work Kate is a passionate horsewoman and much of her spare time is spent riding socially and looking after her horse, Nuala, and her two terrier-cross dogs, Daisy and Ralph. She is also passionate about organic wine and particularly keen to support local wineries and vineyards.
