I HAD HEARD OF COOLSCULPTING A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND LIKED THE IDEA OF THIS NON- SURGICAL PROCEDURE.
About 18 months before having the treatment, I started training with a personal trainer 2-3 times a week. My body shape began to change and the weight started to come off, approximately 24 pounds. As my waistline reduced, I started to notice a pocket of fat sitting above my belly button area. The slimmer I became, the more obvious it was. Eating healthily and training hard was having no impact on this fatty area. This is when I decided to go ahead and try CoolSculpting, and I was introduced to Karen and Doctor Sophie at the Illuminate Skin Clinic.
The treatment was fast with no discomfort. I was advised that I might not see any change for a while, maybe 3 months. We also discussed the Venus Legacy Skin Tightening treatment as I was advised that I might have some loose skin once the fat started to breakdown. I decided to go ahead with the recommended CoolScultping treatment and I also felt that the Venus Skin Tightening treatment would be beneficial to me.
I noticed a change after only 5-6 weeks, and after only 8 weeks the change is quite remarkable. It is a great feeling to know I can wear a form fitting top or a bikini without being self-conscious of my tummy area.
