Carol’s Story – Fire & Ice

For some time I had been concerned by a build up of fat around my stomach area. I went on different diets to try and lose it and also tried a variety of different exercise routines, but it just didn’t want to go away. I met with Dr Sophie for my patient consultation. Having carefully examined my stomach area, she recommended CoolSculpting, a fat freezing treatment that can remove stubborn fat from different areas of the body. She also felt that Venus Legacy treatment might help to tone my stomach area once my CoolSculpting treatment had taken place. I felt very relaxed and confident with Dr Sophie and decided to proceed with her recommendations.

The treatment itself went very smoothly. I felt a small amount of discomfort as the freezing started and there was some redness and swelling immediately afterwards, but Dr Sophie and the Illuminate team were very friendly, helpful and reassuring throughout, giving me detailed post-treatment advice, with follow up appointments also booked.

I was really delighted with my CoolSculpting results (the fat has disappeared) and the Venus Legacy treatment has also given my new, fat-free tummy much improved tone. I would definitely recommend Illuminate to anyone who has an area of body fat that they have found difficult to remove through other means.
