Amy’s Story – Lip Fillers

I had been unhappy with my lips for a while.  They seemed to be losing their shape and fullness with each passing year.  I had always been reluctant to seek treatment advice as I don’t like the unnatural and overly full looking lips that I have seen on many people who have had treatments.  But a friend recommended me to Dr Sophie Shotter at Illuminate and I decided to go for a consultation. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

I met with Dr Sophie and from the moment I walked into the clinic I felt completely at ease. She asked me about my lips, what I was unhappy with and what my objectives were.  She explained that the shape of the lips often changes naturally with age and that my concerns were nothing unusual.  She then talked to me about Illuminate’s Lip Filler treatment and how she is able to create a totally natural look to help restore the shape and fullness that my lips had lost. At the end of the consultation I felt fully confident and booked my treatment.

The treatment itself went very smoothly and took about an hour in total.  Every step of the process was explained to me and my initial nervousness quickly disappeared. I was given aftercare following my treatment and two days later the clinic called me to make sure that I was fine and still happy with my lips. I was! They also arranged a follow up appointment for two weeks later.

The results are amazing! I absolutely love my new lips! Everyone has said how natural they look and this is what I am happiest about, as I really didn’t think this could be achieved. I cannot recommend Illuminate enough.  Everyone at the clinic is so friendly and just puts you at ease from the moment you arrive. From consultation to after care I give them 10 out of 10 and would recommend them to anyone considering an aesthetic treatment, even if you are as nervous about it as I was!
