OUR TEAM: A few minutes with new Illuminate team member Emily Ruse

We are so lucky to welcome the fabulous Emily Ruse to the Illuminate team.

Emily joins us from another clinic in Kent as our new Assistant Clinic Manager and we’re delighted to have her on board.

“I love seeing the incredible results that aesthetic treatments can produce and how life changing those results can be to someone,” she revealed.

Emily is a rising star within the aesthetics industry.

Having joined her former clinic as a receptionist two years ago, she was promoted within six months to become Clinic Manager.

At Illuminate Emily’s main responsibilities will include managing the team, the day to day running of the clinic, ensuring compliance with the Care Quality Commission and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Having now rolled up her sleeves and taken her seat at our award-winning clinic, Emily explained why she is so excited to have joined our team.

She said: “There are so many reasons why I’m excited about joining Illuminate!

“I especially can’t wait to work with Dr Sophie and learn from one of the best people in the industry.

“I also can’t wait to just dive straight into everything and begin driving Illuminate forward to be even more successful in delivering our great service to patients across a range of new services.

“I have so many ideas for the company and I can’t wait to start implementing some of them. I’m just very excited to start working for such an amazing clinic.”

Emily – who used to be a competitive swimmer in her spare time – added: “I think Illuminate has a very exciting future in store for all of our patients. I think 2020, especially, will be a fantastic year and our clients can expect to see some very excting treatments and services, regular clinic events and open evenings and much more!”

When asked to name her favourite aesthetic treatment as part of this interview, Emily struggled to select just one because Illuminate offers such a broad range of effective and successful treatments.

“Now that’s a tough question, “ she remarked.

“I think I would have to say Dermal Filler is my favourite treatment overall.

“It makes me sad that there is still a lot of stigma that surrounds this industry because, when in the right hands, Dermal Filler can produce breath taking results.

“I’ve seen women walk through the door with issues such as severe Facial Assymetry and have their confidence completely restored with filler.

“A lot of people don’t realise the number of different ways filler can be used. It’s not only for creating bigger lips!”

When not at work, Emily loves socialising with friends and walking her cute cockapoo Bella.

She also has a bucket list and is planning to travel to Bali and the United States as soon as she can!
